You find yourself on an island, dressed in what you last saw yourself in. You can see the land rise up into a small mountain further inland. On the horizon, there's the vague silhouette of another landmass. Around you, creatures of all shapes and sizes chitter, growl, and roar as they wander. Some are massive, but harmless. Others are deadly.

Welcome to the archipelago.

Within this small island chain, you will need to gather resources, learn to build and craft, and find somewhere safe from the prehistoric mega-fauna that share your new home with you. Periodically, caches of supplies will appear, heralded by brightly colored beams of light. No one knows where these come from, or how they get there. But they're helpful.

At times they could mean the difference between life and death.

The point and purpose of this game is to provide a low stress environment for people to play the characters that they want to play. There won't be an apping process. There isn't an activity requirement. There are no restrictions on characters you play, so long as their presence doesn't disrupt another player's enjoyment of the game. The only rules are as follows:

Don't be a dick: we're all here to have fun. Don't ruin someone else's for yours.

Don't God mod: your characters are yours. My characters are mine. Et cetera. Don't assume control of someone's pup without their permission.

That's it. That's the rules.

Simple, right?

There is a caveat: because of the utter lack of in-game restrictions, this game will be invite-only. We don't want drama. We want fun.

FAQs
What's the writing style here?
Anything you want! Wanna do asterisk? Go for it. Longhand/prose? You got it. Brackets and dialogue? Done! Whatever suits you is fine!

Can I use a musebox journal?
If that's easiest for you, sure! Just make sure you notate, somewhere, which pup you're tagging with.

Do I have to use a musebox journal?
Not at all! If you prefer to give a pup their own journal, use that to your heart's content. Sometimes, museboxes are easier, but they don't have to be the end-all, be-all.

My character isn't a human. Can I still play them?
Sure! You can choose to have them human part of the time if it suits your needs, all of the time, or just have them be themselves! Anything goes, so long as you have fun and no one is made uncomfortable in their interactions with you.

How many mega-fauna can my character have?
Taming of the mega-fauna is allowed, but try to keep reasonable. There won't be strict limits unless absolutely necessary.

This game is sisters with saltandpepperdiner. Does that mean pups here can visit there?
Definitely! At random, doorways and archways will lead to the diner, and vice versa, so don't feel totally restricted to the islands you call home!
